Adaptive cultures reach-out and search for new information, markets and technology. There are two aspects of external expansion and search:
You are always trying to expand into new markets, invest in new technology and emphasize the importance of long-term viability to enhance versatility (Christensen, 1995; Claver et al., 1998; Higgins, 1995; Morris, & Trotter, 1990; Smith, 1998).
You are always looking for information regarding new markets, technologies, and products/services (Easterby-Smith, 1990; Higgins, 1995; Morris, & Trotter, 1990).
